We don't know how good your app is, it could be brilliant, but offering to pay for 5-star reviews and spamming each and every #introduceyourself posting with the same reply sets a bad example for newcomers.

Already changed the description in the article regarding the 5 star review. What we did before is indeed inappropriate. Thanks for the great feedback.
As for the welcoming message under #introduceyourself tag, we think good app needs and deserves to be known, and sending people welcoming message is an effective way of doing that. It's just us being proactive. If you read the message, it's actually not spammy at all when we said "feel free to download".
Also, in case you are curious why we are so weirdly confident about our app, you will definitely find out the answer after you have tried it.

Just looked up the word spam, and it says
Electronic spamming is the use of electronic messaging systems to send an unsolicited message (spam), especially advertising, as well as sending messages repeatedly on the same site.
According to this definition, Parriko is indeed spamming, thanks for pointing that out.

I would say that you’re not spamming because your app actually IMPROVES the Steemit experience. It takes away the feeling of a caste system and actually gives people a reason to log in each day (points system). I think it’s introducing people to your app in a neutral friendly way.
