It is natural for people seeking to be richer. And the richness of a person is often measured by the amount of wealth or money. It is indeed difficult to define a person’s richness since the standard of living varies from one society to another. There is however another dimension to determine the person’s richness, which is the extent of help unto others.
Hence, using the other dimension to assess richness, it means that the person’s richness is based on how much one has given away the wealth to help others, instead of the amount of money the person has accumulated.
Everyone should seek to be richer by helping others. In fact, a person may never feel that he or she has enough. But as the person begins to help the needy, that person can realise that he himself or she herself is much richer than the needy. The person can become more contented and feel the joy of helping the needy. Therefore, it is great to be richer by giving rather than just gathering wealth.
寻求财富是许多人很自然的倾向，而一个人是否富有也通常是以所拥有錢财的数量来衡量。要评论一个人的财富确实很困难，因为生活水平因社会而异。然而，确定一个人的富足程度还可以根据另一个層面，即是他对于别人的帮助。
