50 Cognitive Biases To Be Aware Of

in #philosophy4 years ago (edited)

We just ran into this link and immediately thought that it needed to be shared on Hive and other platforms. Although all these listed biases below appear very logical and well sorted out, there is also another way to look at them and which is pretty obvious once you become aware of this different perspective. It is just like staring at the half-empty or full glass theory, you know...

WHAT do you see first?

Many of them shape the central spine of our dysfunctional society. If you take a closer look, and it is very noticeable, minor biases often derive from the bigger ones.

Let's take "In-group favoritism, bandwagon effect, groupthink and confirmation and status quo biases", they obviously all belong to the same category and are core biases in our society as they are extremely deep-rooted.

The latter definitely induce other biases such as "stereotyping, authority bias, suggestibility, false memories, naive cynicism and realism"

But here is what caught our attention directly: when you look at all these biases, core and secondary ones, they are all very striking. Well at least in our view but we are sure that you'd also agree that they are in fact the expression of the ongoing mind control.

Yes, that's right, what you are now looking at are the direct consequences of a social agenda occurring worldwide manipulating all cultures alike. What you are looking at is the recipe to ensure mass control.

Of course, there is absolutely nothing wrong with banding together if not plotting against the greater good. But this is how the system operates, with us as hostages of a ruling ideology acting against our own interests. So what needs to be done here is to get rid of the core biases and the many secondary ones will fade away.

There will always be some biases, let's remain realistic, but we need to let go of all our status quos plaguing our existence and start doing much LESS across the board... We will not change that by fighting central biases but rearranging our lives so we are no longer overworked and begin to consume less.

We need to slow down and fast and live more in the now!

Share this blog asap and ask yourself what you can do at your own level to prevent those biases from affecting your life.
