Lessons, just lessons: ¡The Arrival Fallacy! ...it's my MeMe #345

Impermanence:

Impermanence refers to the state or fact of not lasting forever; it is the quality of being temporary, transient, or short-lived. Essentially, it describes the phenomenon that all physical and mental phenomena are in a constant state of flux and will eventually come to an end.

Key Aspects of Impermanence:

  • Synonyms: Transience, temporariness, ephemerality, fleetingness and evanescence.

  • Buddhist Philosophy: In Buddhism, impermanence is a core doctrine known as anicca (Pali) or anitya (Sanskrit). It asserts that all conditioned existence is constantly changing and without a permanent, unchanging core. Rather than being a gloomy concept, it is often viewed as a practical lens to foster mindfulness, reduce suffering and appreciate the present moment.

  • In Daily Life: Acknowledging impermanence can help individuals adapt to changing emotions, relationships and circumstances with greater flexibility and acceptance.

In other words, the Arrival Fallacy and the Impermanence are two concepts that go hand in hand in the understanding, certainty and conviction that nothing in the universe is immutable or static and that everything moves, flows and changes continuously without ever reaching a state of absolute permanence and perfection. In short, there is no such thing as absolutes. There is always, and always will be, somewhere else to arrive.

Oh, I surely will be happy when We obsolete the tool called money, automate all the needed work no One wants to do, and the abundance of Our planet is flowing to all of Us, such that We can find what We love to do that helps the most, fulfilling Our potential, following Our bliss, making Our dreams come true.

Because then I will have My own place, can live richly, and bask in the payments of thanks, appreciation, fame and all that Others will pay Me with for the efforts I put forth now.

Love always!

Oh, I surely will be happy when We obsolete the tool called money

Yeah, I know that and I get you babe. But... are you really sure that happiness will be ¿permanent?

Pretty sure.  I will bask in My success, and then get a cabin in the woods near a stream, a feline companion, and web access to the world.  I will write books, and eat as I choose, and travel as I feel like, exploring the world with My kitty.

Yeah, giving high probability that will keep Me happy.
