Capture the Light bubbles.

Light Painting experiments in the darkest hours.

This shot, I used a circular Light Blade from LightPaintingParadise. What you see here is an 11 seconds single Light Painting in one exposure. the Camera was set to ISO160. No Photoshop effects have been applied. It really is just me waving around the Lights.
The Light blade is a super nice tool that gives you easy quick results that amaze.

In pursuit of finding a simplistic and harmonic shape. Which is not easy.
This shot was not published for that exact reason. At first, I thought these shapes are way too chaotic.
The primary photo was taken during the first night of our visit. Because we were not just yet brave enough to go deep into the Salar during the night we stayed close to the edge. So we had Uyuni and the hotel in relative sight.

The cool thing is of course to have a pickup right next to where you wanna light paint. Having the tool at hand is super cool.

The location is known and many have gone there. Salar de Uyuni is the endless mirror located in the heart of Bolivia. It is by far the best natural mirror that I have ever seen. Even though this shot does not give you the entire mirror experience but it's so much fun to light paint there.

Quick adjustments and then a few more Light Paintings before we go.

It was so quiet and peaceful out in the flats. Lightning storms around us on the far horizon. Yes, that night was super special. Driving home with these kinds of shots on the SD card is considered the icing on the cake.

Time to go now - let's pack.

After a long night, it starts to brighten on the horizon and the flashlight is not used so let us go back to the hotel ;-)

I hope it was also inspirational. If you have more questions please do not hesitate. I am happy to share my knowledge.
