in #photofeed2 years ago

Feature the main attraction of the Dinosaur Park in Bautzen, Saxonia.

As you saw in my previous post I have been Light Painting during this epic night of the unexpected. Someone said Dinosaur Park and I said yes. 🤦‍♂️ Shaking my head in disbelieve. But Wow this was so much fun. Thank you, Felix, Thomas, Ebs und Anke for such a cool night and of course also the Dino Park saurierpark.de for letting us beam back in time 70 Million years.

Here are actually some dinosaurs for you to share. After a few small tryouts, we wanted to feature the main attraction. The first main image is a 130 seconds single exposure Light Painting. The camera was set to ISO 250 and the lens I used was the LAOWA 12mm Zero D to get the entire scene.

Felix and Ebs were lighting up the trees in the background and I was lighting the foreground giving the dino a pattern shining through a bush in red and white and at the end giving the trees some light.

This is one of the first test shots to see how we light up the dinos. What you looking at is a Brachiosaurus (on the left) and Diplodocus (on the right). FYI

Here you see the first overall shot with no color effects. That's what the non-Light Painting fans will like. It is not so much kitschy.

As mentioned before the park is huge and offers plenty of entertainment tailored mostly to kids.
From the mighty Brachiosaurus to the legendary Tyrannosaurus Rex, over 200 dinosaurs have found a second home in this wonderful park hidden in the bush and forest to be explored. See the full list here

So when you wander around you can find some little dinos fighting. The perfect size for quick light painting on the way.

Adding a bit of drama with the red. 😁

These photos are the last shots of the night this was not the initial trigger for the visit. But for me, the Museum was one of the main reasons as a photography subject. I think the architecture is incredible and suits the theme perfectly.

It is a Dinosaur Park and it's mainly for Kids. It's the largest in size in all of Germany and attracts a few hundred thousand visitors each year.

At the beginning of the 2017 season, the new entrance portal of the dinosaur park was opened. Inside, all Dinofans can expect a comfortable reception area, a bistro, and a 170 square meter souvenir shop with an extensive and exquisite prehistoric range. New sanitary facilities, adventure rooms, and a spacious gallery for strolling can also be found in the entrance building.
Another highlight in the futuristic building is the huge Spinosaurus.

Yes, that park has Dinosaurs starting right at the entrance. The Mitoseum features a moving one with the right Jurassic Park Sound feeling. As you will find all over the park as well. Super nice soundscape.

The park is definitely meant to make the kids happy, yet we all had a super fun night. If you visit it with your kids enjoy the huge space and all the different attractions.

Thank you so much - I was super happy when we got this in.

Over the next weeks, I will share some more impressions and details of our adventure.

I hope it was also inspirational. If you have more questions please do not hesitate. I am happy to share my knowledge.
