Zoom Slide - Light Painting

Iconic train for Görlitz

2020_07_10_GunnarHeillmann_Goerlitz (61)-2.JPG

This train has been painted with the Cities coat of arms. In order to feature the long rails and the coat of arms, I chose to use a zoom slide and light paint the train and the trench first. Then full-on zoom in and shed light on the coat of arms. That means, yes it is just like always a single exposure Light Painting photograph.

So what were the settings?

I hope it was somewhat inspirational. If you have more questions please do not hesitate. I am happy to share my knowledge.
