WORKING FROM THE DESERT

in #photofeed8 years ago

I came down to southern Utah for a Canyoneering trip and decided to bring the airstream and just work down here for the week. Presently I'm camped out near Bryce Canyon... but these images are from the hike I did near Escalante.

I've always loved seeing images like these from friends and finally i was somewhere that had really good cracked mud features

p.s.
Don't worry... I have plenty of water, food and even internet (using my cell phone). The airstream is well equipped. I mostly just worked today but it was also nice to just sit outside on the chair and just read for a bit.

*p.p.s. Any cracked earth shots... feel free to share them below. These are some of my first ones in as long as I can remember. I guess I just forget to take them. *

Crack shots Gotta Love it. Stay safe out there.

Thanks the hard hike is already done and we made it through alive. Next weekend is 15 miles in the narrows, that should be fun and a lot easier since it's pretty much all down hill and lots of water availability.

Sounds like A fun adventure. Take many pictures as we steemians would like to come along with you. Stay safe on your Journey.

Noted and will do! Just posted a pic from the adventure in the skies last night. It was beautiful.

Great shots. I like them too, cool texture

I love the layers and texture. Good job!

Thanks appreciate it.

@jarvie I sent on your name for a wedding gig. I don't know if you're available, but it might be fun.

Heh nice cracks, when was the last time there was water on the ground, any idea ? :D

There was supposed to be water in the canyon we did... we brought wetsuits in fact... but there was barely any. So i guess probably at least a week or so.

Great shots. I like and cool texture

Yeah I need to keep an eye out for really nice texture shots more often!

Love it. That is the life mate.

I just visited Utah a few days back. Really liked the white pockets there, the rock formations are awesome.
