The other day, we got a nice fresh snow and I ventured out into my neighborhood at 4 in the morning to capture it.
There is a perfect stillness at a time like this. The quiet of the early-morning hours before anyone is up -- including the sun -- plus the shushing still of the snow itself.
And with the only light being the street lights, lanterns, and lamps...you get this stunning silvery look that adds another element of winter magic.
