Norwegian Landscapes: Lovatnet lake

in #photofeed3 years ago

Hi there!

Almost ready to hit the road to the airport and finally visit Poland after 20 months.

But before that happen - one more post with a small collection of shots from Lovatnet lake, which I mentioned several times before.

Lovatnet is a long and narrow lake situated among the high mountains of Jostedalsbreen National Park.
Only one side of the lake is accessible by car, the road is quite dangerous, narrow and in high season generate a lot of traffic by the passing places.

I had this amazing experience to swim in my kayak on the far end of the lake, I spent whole day on the water enjoying the weather, the atmosphere and landscapes around me.

The waters of this lake have amazing blue/green color - they are coming from the melting Jostedalsbreen glacier - the biggest one in Norway.

Hope this few shots will show You some beauty of the place. Have much more to show but no time to prepare ;).

Stay tuned for more - I will be back in 11 days.

Hope You will have a good time and stay safe!

Cheers!
