Hi Folks!
During my walk in the forest today I was searching for inspiration, looking for something interesting around me I spotted quite fast that the fresh snow covered the trees very gently showing their shapes and textures pretty well.
The most majestic among all the trees were the Oaks - in these parts of the forest there is quite a lot of them - some are very old, definitely around 200-300 y.o.
Their huge, massive branches were well seen between the straight trunks of old pines and spruces.
I decided to focus my attention on the most impressive Oaks, I managed to take several shots and build up a little collection.
That is how the idea of "Winter Oaks" project emerged.
If the conditions allow - I will continue gathering the shots.
For now - few shots of the Oaks from today's trip.
