It is always nice to cross the Danube and the Danube Island in a train of the Vienna subway. From the overground subway stations you can often enjoy great views - like here on the Millinum Tower in the background, which was Austria's tallest skyscraper for many years and still ranks second in this category.
Es ist immer wieder schön in einem Zug der Wiener U-Bahn die Donau sowie die Donauinsel zu überqueren. Von den überirdischen U-Bahn-Stationen kann man nicht selten tolle Ausblicke genießen - wie hier auf den Millinum Tower im Hintergrund, der viele Jahre lang Österreichs höchster Wolkenkratzer war und in dieser Kategorie noch immer auf Platz zwei liegt.
