The pygmy monkey (or more accurately, the pygmy marmoset) is the smallest monkey in the world, weighing in at a mere 125 grams, barely more than four ounces. Imagine an adult monkey so small (five-inches tall) that you could hold it in the palm of your hand! The pygmy marmoset is very difficult to find and photograph in the wild.
