El rinconcillo es un barrio de la localidad de Algeciras. Antiguamente era una aldea de pescadores alejada de la ciudad. Con el tiempo, se ha ido construyendo hasta estar completamente adosado a Algeciras.
"El Rinconcillo" is a neighbourhood in the town of Algeciras. It used to be a fishing village far from the city. Over time, it has been built up until it is completely attached to Algeciras.
El rinconcillo tiene una gran playa de arena fina donde hay espacio para todo. Desde varaderos de las barcas de pesca hasta zonas deportivas, paseo y restaurantes en la misma arena.
"El Rinconcillo" has a large fine sandy beach where there is room for everything. From the fishing boats' slipways to sports areas, promenades and restaurants on the sand itself.
El puerto de Algeciras, considerado uno de los más grandes e importantes de Europa le ha ganado terreno y mar, pero a la vez protege la playa de los grandes temporales del Estrecho de Gibraltar.

En el paseo marítimos encontramos buenos y conocidos restaurantes. En verano siempre están llenos. Los menús se basan principalmente en productos del mar.
The promenade is lined with good and well-known restaurants. In summer they are always full. The menus are mainly based on seafood.
El paseo por la orilla de su playa es muy relajado. Con poco oleaje al estar dentro de la Bahía de Algeciras y su arena fina, además de sus varios kilómetros de longitud donde hay hasta formaciones de dunas costeras.
The walk along the shore of the beach is very relaxed. With little waves as it is inside the Bay of Algeciras and its fine sand, as well as its several kilometres long where there are even coastal dune formations.
