La desembocadura del río Palmones es un paraje natural donde se mezclan el agua de la Bahía con el agua dulce del río. Este ecosistema de una considerable extensión, es el lugar de descanso de muchas aves migratorias. La orilla del río es usada por pescadores locales para guardar las embarcaciones en pequeños embarcaderos fabricados artesanalmente.
The mouth of the Palmones River is a natural spot where the water of the Bay mixes with the fresh water of the river. This ecosystem of considerable extension is the resting place of many migratory birds. The river bank is used by local fishermen to store their boats in small handmade jetties.
