Sad times but apparently great opportunity for unique pictures in the cities, all over the world!
I am lucky enough to live on a rural not affected (yet) area and my main occupation is farming so my daily life hasn't change a bit. I do see though a big disturbance in the nearby towns but no chaos, or empty shelves or any kind of panic behaviors. There will be huge economical consequences since the whole island is depending on tourism and this year will lose at least 2 months of work but other than that we are pretty cool out here.
