As we all know, 2020 has been one hell of a ride that I'm pretty sure none of us expected. It's easy to see all the dark that is happening in the world, but we as individuals cannot let this shape our reality. People are so interesting and we shouldn't let ourselves be so quick to think badly of others. If we started searching for the good in people instead of obsessing over the bad, we could see an entire shift in humanity.
We are too quick to assume that we don't have anything in common with people who look completely different than us, but this mindset doesn't benefit anyone. @heyalexa and I just went to the store to grab some stuff for dinner and there was this guy taking photos of a tree so I decided to park next to him. I ended up chatting with this guy while Alexa went into the store. The conversation was so natural that it seemed like we had been friends for years. You may even be shocked to learn that he is 41 years older than me.
Moral of the story: Don't be so quick to judge. People are awesome!
