On a rock, floating through space.

When you see large rocks like this, do you ever stop and wonder how it got there in the first place, or how long it's been there? It's interesting that this rock is a part of a much larger rock that we call Earth. Scientist claims Earth moves at 67,000 miles per hour or nearly 30 kilometers per second!

Could you imagine if Earth stopped spinning just for 1 second? Do you think those in a submarine would survive?
