For those who have never been in Utah during the spring, a local garden park called Thanksgiving Point hosts an annual tulip festival! Last night, we attended this beautiful event, and we were absolutely not disappointed!
The tulips were absolutely perfect, and in SUCH a variety of colors. The day was perfect, the weather was glorious, and who doesn't love tons of fantastic flowers?!
They even showcase a number of their most popular specimens with plaques which display their names. (I personally learned that my favorite one is called the "Apricot Parrot.") There is even a brand new one that was created in the Netherlands specifically for this event; it is even named the Thanksgiving Point Tulip. The park debuted it this year.
More tulips are forthcoming, but there were far too many shots to include in just one post! LOL
