After receiving an electric barbecue grill as a gift, I decided to make a famous Nepali meat item: Chicken Sekuwa. At first, the chicken was marinated by mixing the following ingredients (2nd picture): sour curd, salt, turmeric, chili powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, Sichuan powder, spices blend for chicken items aka chicken masala, the paste of ginger and garlic, ground spices (I ground black pepper, cinnamon, and cloves), 1 spoon mustard oil and finally 2 spoon lemon juice. Then I pierced them into the skewers (3rd picture). Connected the grill to the socket and let it be warm for about 5 minutes in medium mode. Then simply put the skewers on the top iron surface of the grill (4th picture). And let it be cooked until there’s a roasted appearance. Believe me, I had the best Sekuwa of my life today. Tomato pickle and salad further added a great taste(5th picture).
