Is there more to life than life?
We've all no doubt asked ourselves this a few times in our life. A catastrophic event, a moment of boredom, quietness, deep thought, a moment where we muted everything around us and allowed important questions to seep into our minds.
We live in a world filled with endless mindless entertainment, preoccupations and anxieties, responsibilities inflicted upon us by society, distractions that very often hinder us from finding answers to the biggest questions. Where do I come from? Why am I here? Where am I going?
Many of us might even fear these gigantic, mountain-like questions and think of them as either impossible to know or too difficult to find out. So, we put our faith in others, the "experts", those who we think know better, accepting what answers society has handed us on a silver platter, and afraid to even ask ourselves if it's just what we accept or what we really know and believe.
Just a few moments of boredom, that's all it takes for our mind to wander into deep thought. I see a girl perhaps initially looking up to see if she should have brought an umbrella, only to find herself questioning the meaning of life itself, wondering if some invisible force or forces are kindly looking down upon her and the rest not the world.
You don't know until you know
How could we possibly leave the answering of the most important questions in the hands of man, and put our faith in mere error-making flesh and blood?
Don't just believe what is believed, strive to know.
