Desperation, despair, poverty, responsibility. When the going gets tough, the tough get going. Some people are strong, tenacious, enduring, hanging on with every last bit of breath in their bodies. Courageous, fearless and good.
I see a street vendor tenaciously trying to make a sale, courageously digging himself out of the dreadful pit life threw him in. Not relying on others but making a future for himself, doing whatever it takes to make ends meet. He's the real hero!
Tough
There are too many sheepish people in this world relying on others to care for them and tend to their every need. Victims, taking everything for granted and expecting everything from everyone. Toughen up, do whatever it takes!

I do not feel a victim of anything and there is nothing I want so much that I feel I need to do whatever it takes to get it. 😁
I’m glad you don’t feel victimized. I meant more in the sense of people struggling financially and being willing to do all kinds of jobs to support their families for example. Thanks for answering all my questions by the way, you always do ;)
I don't think I'd be a victim in that situation either @peter-parker but I wouldn't be happy that's for sure and I probably would moan about it.
Whereas my partner would just get any job and get on with it without complaining. 😁
