Die Sonnenuhr aus dem Jahr 1940 bezeichnet den geografischen Meßpunkt Dresdens. Sie wurde im Jahre
2011 detailgetreu rekonstruiert und steht im Staudengarten. Dieser befindet sich auf der Neustädter (rechten) Elbseite zwischen der sächsischen Staatskanzlei und dem Diakonissenkrankenhaus.

The sundial from the year 1940 marks the geographical measuring point of Dresden. It was rebuilt in 2011 reconstructed true to detail and stands in the "Stauden-Garden". This is located on the Neustadt (right) side of the Elbe between the Saxon State Chancellery and the Diakonissen-Hospital.
