Meine Highlights des Jahres
Freunde es ist so krass! Mein erstes volles Jahr als Finanz Podcaster ist um und es war einiges los. Zu Beginn des Jahres ging es schon richtig gut los, Own360, ein Fintech aus Wien schlug mir eine Kooperation vor. Der Podcast bereichert seitdem als erster Audio Content deren App-Plattform und mir hat es ein zusätzliches Publikum erschlossen. Wirklich eine schöne Sache und Win-Win.
Im Sommer folgte dann meine Anmeldung hier auf Hive. @hatoto hat mich letztlich überzeugt, auch wenn ich die erste Zeit noch recht untätig war. Dafür macht es mir jetzt umso mehr Spaß! Die Community hier, ihr alle, seid wirklich super nett und es ist sehr spannend in die Hive-Blockchain Welt einzutauchen und Teil zu haben an dieser krassen Technologie! Vor allem, weil es gerade auch für Podcasts richtig tolle Tools bietet, wie Value-for-Value oder @Aureal.
Dann im Oktober hat es endlich geklappt, mein Besuch auf dem Parkett der Frankfurter Börse. Ein befreundeter Händler, Marc von der Baader Bank, hatte das Ganze möglich gemacht und mich eingeladen. Ich konnte mir alles ansehen, mit etlichen Leuten sprechen und es wurde eine richtig gute Podcast Story draus. Wenn ihr bisher noch nicht reingehört habt: Episode 170. 😉
Entwicklung der Zahlen
Auch die „harten Fakten“, die Zahlen der Zugriffe auf den Podcast haben sich im Jahresverlauf wirklich gut entwickelt. Die Abonnentenzahl stieg von wenigen Hundert auf weit mehr als Eintausend. Für mich ein echter Meilenstein. Und fast noch wichtiger ist meiner Meinung nach eine Statistik, die Spotify anbietet: Dort kann man einsehen wieviel Prozent der Podcast HörerInnen bis zum Ende durchhören. Und da liegen die meisten Episoden tatsächlich bei 80% und mehr. D.h. wer von euch reinklickt, der hört idR. auch die ganze Episode durch. Das freut mich echt, heißt es doch, dass der Content interessant für euch ist. 😊
Ausblick aufs nächste Jahr
Was mir auch im nächsten Jahr bestimmt nicht ausgehen wird sind die Themen für neue Episoden. So habe ich in meinem kleinen Notizbuch schon mehrere Seiten mit Ideen gefüllt.
Intensivieren möchte ich dagegen den Austausch mit euch und auch mit anderen Podcastern. Die Community stärken wie man so schön sagt. Dabei geht es mir vor allem darum, anderen die Vorteile der Hive Blockchain und ihrer Apps transparenter zu machen. Vor allem, anderen Podcastern die immensen Möglichkeiten aufzuzeigen, die sich zB. durch Value-for-Value oder die Verknüpfung mit Hive über @Aureal ergeben.
In diesem Sinne auf ein Neues, produktives und spannendes Jahr!

My highlights of the year
Friends it's so rad! My first full year as a financial podcaster is over and there was a lot going on. At the beginning of the year things started off really well, Own360, a fintech from Vienna proposed a cooperation to me. The podcast has since been enriching their app platform as the first audio content and it has opened up an additional audience for me. Really a nice thing and win-win.
This was followed by my signup here on Hive in the summer. @hatoto ultimately won me over, even though I was quite inactive for the first while. But now I enjoy it all the more! The community here, all of you, are really super nice and it's very exciting to dive into the Hive blockchain world and be part of this cool technology! Especially because it offers really great tools especially for podcasts, like Value-for-Value or @Aureal.
Then in October it finally worked out, my visit to the floor of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. A trader friend of mine, Marc from Baader Bank, had made the whole thing possible and invited me. I was able to see everything, talk to several people and it turned into a really good podcast story. If you haven't listened to it yet: Episode 170. 😉
Development of the numbers
The "hard facts", the numbers of hits on the podcast have also developed really well over the course of the year. The number of subscribers went from a few hundred to well over a thousand. For me, a real milestone.
And almost more important, in my opinion, is a statistic that Spotify offers: There you can see what percentage of podcast listeners listen through to the end. And most episodes are actually 80% and more. That means that those of you who click in, usually listen to the whole episode. I'm really happy about that, because it means that the content is interesting for you. 😊
Outlook for next year
What I will definitely not run out of next year are the topics for new episodes. So I have already filled several pages in my little notebook with ideas.
On the other hand, I would like to intensify the exchange with you and also with other podcasters. Strengthen the community as they say. My main goal is to make the advantages of the Hive Blockchain and its apps more transparent to others. Above all, to show other podcasters the immense possibilities that arise, for example, through Value-for-Value or the link with Hive via @Aureal.
So that‘s the plan for a new, productive and exciting year!
