Flame's Life's A Magical Expression

A Portu-Geezer once wrote a song
About a little Flame.
Broadcast on the doggy wireless
Waggy tailed, be-toothed and tireless,
'twas a black and white refrain!

One of six and keen on sticks
She roams her hilltop domain
Unbounded poop and endless play
Eucalyptus trees along the forest way
Drinking in the Algarvian rain.

Mama Yuki and 5 of the 6 puppies

One day when two months old
Barge anchors his tent nearby
Six weeks later Flame climbs aboard
Nervous, determined, yet alert and absorbed
Testing out wings she begins to fly.

She got her name coz of the mark on her forehead, which has now disappeared

At 9 months old the adventure further unfolds
And it's goodbye to this bountiful land.
We head North over landscapes, mountains and seas
From the rural woods, through concrete cities
To the capital of bonnie green Scotland!

You're back!!!!
So very good to see ya and your travel companion.

Hope you two are doing great, those are some beautiful pictures that capture the freedom vibe you two radiate.

Many thanks PP, we're doing well - adjusting to the city vibe and navigating through the drama; re-discovering the place from a dog's perspective :).

You guys seem to be enjoying your BIG travels - I'll get up to speed with them soon. May the fresh water continue to run!

<3 oh it is, all the time.
aye, I'm really happy to have you around again. all the best to you two!

Hey @barge,
Thank you for sharing your journey with us.
Despite having the utmost confidence in your abilities, I would be fibbing to say I wasn't a little worried from time to time when I thought about you.

Flame seems to be another old kindred spirit who came to you during a time when you probably needed her if I were to gander a guess.
It's a real treat to get to meet her vicariously through you.

Welcome back to Scotland. You look good and like you're in great shape!

PS. The creative P(l)andemic photography is dope.

Nice pics Barge. Can’t wait to meet the doggo

Cheers Cams, look forward to when we can make it over...will msg you and try for Aug sometime.

Thanks my friend, it was an adventure for sure and the outcome not always certain by any means. Took 3 hours to fly there and 18 days to get back! I've got some materials to do a fuller set of blogs about the trip once I get round to it. We're doing well otherwise, slowly unfolding ourselves into this space and observing the flow around and about. Flame's defo a kindred spirit (albeit with rather sharp teeth :) and her company is and has been, a delight. Nice to see you on Hive bro!
