the ascending sun shines
through your slanted blinds
in bars and binary dashes
yearn for the feel
of the atmospheric breath
on your waning face
but stay muzzled
instead content yourself
with those waves of intermittent
bars and binary dashes
count the days
with pulses and beat
mark the zenith and dark
with insistence and fear
subsist and survive on
streams of cyber sugar
and terrifying numerical
saccharine emission
shelter in place
don't mar the code
with a muddy tread
an inquisitive
walkabout
stay safe, separate
the global missive
thrives in isolation
do your part
we are in it together
dissolve connections
fade away, minute within
your bars and binary dashes
