weathers to burgundy
within the wink
of an eye
Anubis' cloak
descends
in slow motion
delayed
cumulus billows
in a cooling draft
techno spectrum
fades to tin-type
inky film
dissolves
twilight
a worn projector
jagged and rusted
sharp and irregular
punctures and frays
the dark one's coverlet
oxides the threatening
nothingness
There you are
illumination gained
through fractures and splices
a nightmare is eroded
illusion uncovered
magic and wonder
liberated
within the wink
of an eye
