Earthmoving Genius.
Once upon a time, there was this dude, who changed the world, because he had a hobby.
He came up with the idea that the Earth is moving around the Sun. He did all the math and stuff and wrote a book about it.
And he humbly died.
He was recognized and credited a long time after.
Well, we Poles, we generally tend to fail at self-promotion.
Or we promote things or people we shouldn't.
If foreigners ask:
Name three famous Polish people.
We almost without thinking say:
Pope John Paul 2.0, Lech Wałęsa, Robert Lewandowski.
Personally, I think there are much better choices.
Like:
Copernicus, Marie Curie, Tadeusz Kościuszko.
