the image above was done this days in Philadelphia. The city is expecting again riots after the election. I don't understand why people want the police to be destroyed. For common sense, such pictures shall not be seen in the free world. A strong police and strong army shall be able to handle any riots.
Back to the elections today. Whatever is chosen, it will problematic for the USA in the next 4 years. The crisis is hitting hard everywhere and the US puts gas on it with this elections. The candidates are both old. On the democrats side, I'm afraid that Biden will not be able to serve for 4 years and that his vicepresident will need to step in. This would be a disaster for the West, that a far left will rule the country.
Whoever comes out has to deal with a lot of mess. Extremism is on the rise, being it left or right. Yes, Antifa is extreme and needs to be dealt with. Safety needs to return on the streets. Rioters need to be punished harder. Even with pay for the damage dealt.
Also the USA has lost a lot of external influence, middle east is lost, south Asia Sea is lost.. and many other places...
Who will win? No one knows, as there are a lot of silent voters that are afraid to voice themselves. Popular vote will go to Biden, but the USA does not go by popular vote.

Police - there is a difference between police forces in different countries. In Germany and most of the other surrounding countries today the probability that they will treat you with fairness and try to help you is much higher than in other parts of the world (Though it still helps if you're "normal" looking and have no accent etc). But 40 years ago in the Easter European countries I would have preferred not meeting or needing the police. And apparently quite a number of members of the US police force have to work on the "protect and serve" aspect - how it looks if that works we could see the other day in Vienna. Fast, efficient, level-headed with a good grasp of how to inform the citizens.
Antifa = anti-fascistic. A word that was heavily misused, for instance in the GDR with them calling the wall to Western Germany "Antifaschistischen Schutzwall" (=anti-fascistic protection wall). I hope all of us are anti-fascistic, because who would want to live in a fascist country?
