Pomegranate Juice Recipe. How to make Pomegranate Juice by Drinks Made Easy. Pomegranate juice is really good for you because it's super high in antioxidants not to mention it's really tasty too. It can be pretty expensive at the store though. So it stands to reason that you would want to make it at home and save that money! To make homemade pomegranate juice is actually pretty quick and easy. Best of all you don't need a fancy juicer. All you need is two pomegranates, some water, and a blender. We at Drinks Made Easy always recommend you use the freshest
ingredients when making your drinks, any type of drink. That's why we wanted to show a quick and easy way to make Pomegranate Juice.

To make your homemade pomegranate juice you will first, you want to deseed you pomegranates for blending. You do this by scoring the outside rind with a knife. Then you can crack open the pomegranate, preferably over a bowl. Turning a half over in your hand, take a wooden spoon and smack the top of the half to knock the seeds into a bowl. Most of the seeds will pop out, but you might have to peel the rind to push out (gently) the remaining seeds. Once all your seeds are out, pour them into a blender with your 2 glass of water, salt 1/4, sugar 2 tbs, Blend thoroughly until all the seeds are crushed up. There will be a considerable amount of pulp present so you will have to use a strainer to separate everything out. Over a pitcher or container over 16 oz. strain your juice and pulp. We used two strainers to make sure we got as much of the pulp separated as we could. You will have to do this in stages because the pulp is pretty thick. Once you are done you can now drink your fresh homemade juice, use in a cocktail, or make grenadine with your pomegranate juice. It actually tastes better thanPOM!
