I've mentioned before, that the daily harvests are falling off. In particular, my Tomato output is dropping. I have a big increase in peas again... those Golden Sweet Peas love the cooler nights.
In the above, there's only one, but our house doesn't use more than one or two a day( Or even every few days!) So, similar to Carrot, I pick them when I need them.
Sure, I am sad about the end of the season! But, let's be serious here, campers... I had a VERY GOOD season in the garden. At some point, I will do a recap, and post a total of all that I collected... maybe with a video? maybe not... we'll see.
For now? I am extremely happy and thankful I could provide such a fresh and healthy bounty for my family and friends.
when I am feeding them fresh healthy food!

Sustainable living with great variety, I am also amazed at how much you are able to grow in short summer spell.
Enjoy your bountiful harvest!

I plant as seeds in February in my basement, and grow them indoors for 4 to 6 weeks. THEN, out to the container garden, once the temperature is agreeable.
Some, like Tomato, Potato, Peas, Zucchini, and more, get a second planting.
Some, like my herbs, come indoors for an overwintering, and even some small harvests for fresh herbs for cooking.
Well worthwhile, you know conditions planted in, eating healthy keeps the bills at doctors and stores down.
VERY true. And there's a HUGE sense of accomplishment, in providing fresh food for my own family and for friends!
