You should always look well before you send your fleet to attack someone that is 50+ levels above you in the statistics of any game. The following link is a report I received when someone decided to leap without looking.
The following report is one where someone attacked one of my colonies that I have barely started in order to steal my resources. Granted this person was successful at the initial attack, however he or she or they are now on my hit list and in a future post I will share the reports of just what that means
