Editing has been a feature for months and is not new. Deleting is a slightly newer feature, but also not new. You can't delete your comment if it's been replied to or been voted on.
What seems to have changed is that edits can't be made on posts that have been paid out, which is a confusing change that I have seen zero documentation on.
I don't understand that either. I want that clarified. In fact i want 20 other things clarified. Is there anyone besides the developers who understands SteamIt COMPLETELY? :)
This is all a beta test. Things are always changing (improving). So it's hard to completely understand it. Just enjoy the ride until things settle down. The final product will probably look a lot different. Steem on ♨️

Edit was possible, but delete seems quite new (or I didn't noticed it)
Also you can now delete blog posts (but only if no one commented on them yet).
