Play-to-earn -> When you get caught up in the game instead of actually earning!

in #pte2 years ago

Once again I would like to write a few words about STEPN. As you probably understand, I am quite addicted to the thing. Not only because it blesses me and helps me walk or run every single day, but because it is a game at the same time. What do I mean? You earn GST by moving your body. But, instead of just cashing out (which would crash the GST price if everyone did that), you are always inspired to spend your rewards within the game. How can this be done?

In STEPN, you can spend your rewards in order to:

  • Upgrade your sneakers which again will increase your reward possibilities.
  • Mint new sneakers which again might give you awesome new sneakers, and even profit if you sell them at a higher price than the minting cost (which you normally do).
  • Buy even more sneakers in order to get more daily energy which again will increase your daily GST profits.

All these stuff are there to help you spend your rewards within STEPN instead of just cashing out. And yes, that is what the entire concept is about. Not only is it about actually making us move, but it is smart in the way that you will often end up spending your rewards instead of just cashing out.

Believe me, wisdom is needed here in order to do this properly. Because, we all know that it is worth upgrading if the price remains the same for a longer period of time. But, what will happen if the price should crash? Then it would have been wiser to take profit right now.

But, in the end, you are still a winner with STEPN because it causes you to move your body and to be in better health.

However, it takes a lot of brain capacity making all these decisions and it clearly makes me think about this all day long!

What about you? Are you addicted to any play-to-earn games or concepts like STEPN? Do you have a strategy?
