We arrive at our mountain, where we have a small cottage in Colonia Tovar, in the morning hours. Although it was a little cold, the day was very bright.
The sky was as blue as you can imagine, with its clouds that seemed to be painted with the feather of an angel's wing. Brushstrokes of angels, my mother would say.
At the end of the afternoon, when the sun decides to go to rest, the cold begins to penetrate our bones. So much so that each of us had a pair of double socks and a double sweater and we still felt cold.
The guys decided to light the fire in the fireplace, while my sister and I, made some mini pizzas with mozzarella, paprika, tomato, pepperoni, onion and basil.
These are the small details that make the difference in each person's life. That feeling of belonging, of family, that feeds the soul. As Miguel's great-grandmother said in the film "Coco": "Family comes first".
For now, stay home, better times will come!
