Supporting discrimination against races for doing well?

There is a real reason to express legitimate concern about intersectionality, critical race theory, and their advocates gaining credibility in the academy. Just take Ibram X. Kendi and Robin DiAngelo's words seriously and think for two seconds about the logical conclusions.

Racial equity - equality of outcomes isn't just the goal, our politics should be driven by that alone.

Kendi regards proposals about tax policy to be racist if he thinks for a moment that it would benefit one race over another.

Kendi also hasn't been quiet about supporting racially discriminatory policies in the name of equity. Namely, if your race is doing well, Kendi supports discrimination against your race.

I understand that most people who gloss over these people or even support them think that they're just trying to take white people down a peg and force us to acknowledge a history of racism. I understand that people think that.

The reality is that there are at least two racial minorites in this country that tend to do disproportionately well economically - Jewish people and Asian people.

I get that it's palatable to attack the demographic that falls into the majority - that's why Kendi and DiAngelo focus on white people. But, if Kendi is saying what he means and meaning what he says, he must support laws meant to discriminate against Jews and Asians.

If anybody talking to Kendi had a brain and guts, they'd demand that he talk about this. Unfortunately, Kendi is good at making sure that he never talks to smart people. That's why he refused to debate Coleman Hughes despite the proceeds being offered to the United Negro College Fund by Hughes.

But, this isn't confined to people like Kendi and DiAngelo. Anybody who takes these ideas seriously, which is a shockingly large number of people, is bound to go down this road.
