I don't have a lot of voting power, and I spend a lot of my time active on Steemit while at work, so making blog posts is usually out of the question during the day. I spend my daytime curating, and commenting, and then when I can, Ill post a blog sometimes in the evening. I do like you do, I actively peruse the new posts, not just the people I follow, looking for great unique content that grabs my attention. I think a welcoming environment is essential to growing this community. I also don't use bots, because I want my vote to be a representation of me, not representative of an autonomous AI in order to solely grow my SP.
To answer your final question "Now I'd love to know how you manage to distribute your voting power 'fairly'?
My answer....there is no "fair" way to distribute your voting power. You said yourself when you vote for "A", sometimes you'll miss "B".
I think we have to do what we can with what little time we are given, and whatever resources we have available to us.
just my thoughts, hope that gives you some clarity on how others process this responsibility.
Thanks
That's exactly how I think about it. It's more: I almost always leave a comment explaining why I upvoted a certain piece of content. It's my form of showing respect towards other authors. We all know how much effort is needed to be creative...
Correct. Actually I was hoping to get answers like these...😉 There is no "perfect" distribution, just the intention to spend time and ressources wisely and according to our possibilities.
Thanks a lot for sharing your thoughts with us! Very valuable!!
