Interesting post! I can't say I've thought about evenly distributing voting power but that's likely due to the fact that I have nowhere near as much influence as you. I guess as this platform grows, we're all going to have to take such things like this into account.

Voting power - or better said: influence - doesn't neccessarily depend on the Steem Power behind. Yes, from a monetary point of view it does. However, a vote is a vote is an appreciation, a sign of interest, a recognition. On other platforms where we don't get paid for social interaction the simple vote (or "like") is the highest existing bid.
