That's a brilliant example which really demonstrates that it's not about providing an equal amount of attention or rewards to everybody, but knowing how and when to selectively distribute it.
My friends are all living far away from me (except two of them), so you really hit the nail in my case :) I haven't seen my best friend for 5 years since he's living in the US and me in Spain. But we will be together in 10 days!! Then we'll fill our hearts with friendship, adventure, experience, laughter, joy, emotion and love again so that we'll be able to survive the next years without seeing each other...:)

The situation you have with your friends is exactly a great example! I hope you guys will have much fun being together again and sharing everything that you've missed from each other over the past time.
Where in Spain do you live? We have visited Spain many times now and we've just finished a piece on Valencia. We put it online like 10 minutes ago. Next up is probably going to be Madrid or Barcelona :)
