A big hug! From here, even from afar, I send my best wishes to the entire Rising Star community. Friends, I've hand-drawn a new instrument for the game today; it's called the Bansuri. You can find it in deck i148. This beautiful instrument is a type of flute, though with some features that make it different and special. I'll tell you about them in a moment.

I would say that what makes it most different from a flute are its air control holes. If you look at the instrument, in addition to the normal holes in a row, it has one on top and one on the side. As far as I know, there's no other flute like this. You can control the sound through all the holes, and each one serves a different function. It can create both low and very high tones. And those extra holes can enhance either mode.
This instrument is widely used in ceremonial celebrations. From what I've researched, it's believed to have divine properties for those who play it. But of course, that depends entirely on the culture and location of each country.

The bansuri is mostly made of refined bamboo, but you can find toy or low-cost versions made of plastic. But the best ones are always the traditional bamboo ones. I'm a fan of all wind instruments, some more than others, but I consider this one of the most relaxing I've ever heard. You should listen to it too; you can find some samples if you search for it by name. By the way, the decoration on the one that comes in the Rising Star deck is very pretty because of its varied colors.
I made the drawing, friends, in the following way: I drew the base and the image of the bansuri on the paper. Then I colored everything with colored pencils. With a white and a black pencil, I highlighted each edge of the base and the drawing so that it wouldn't look muddy and would stand out from the other parts. You've been able to see this in the images I've been sharing. Now I'll show you how it turned out.

Friends, once again I send my thanks for your support. I hope to be back here soon with a drawing dedicated to another beautiful instrument of the game, the Bansuri.
