Hand colored with colored pencils: JJ46 microphone

in #risingstar7 days ago

Do you want a hug, friends? I hope so, because I'm sending you one from afar, and a big one at that, because I love you all so much. I've already mentioned that you're like family to me. Well, today I drew a new instrument from Rising Star. It's none other than the JJ46 microphone. You can find it in the deck identified with the number i266. I'm excited about this drawing because I don't usually draw microphones in my drawings; in fact, it's one of the types of decks I've drawn the least. I've only drawn a few, probably less than four. Now I'll tell you a little bit about the microphone, while you look at some pictures of how I made the drawing.

The microphone in this case is very large; it's not like some of the small handheld ones I painted a long time ago. This one is probably used on a stand or some other special equipment. I don't think it's for traditional singing. The only place I can imagine using a microphone like this is in a music studio, or maybe in some retro music video. I'm going with this because its aesthetic is quite retro, and I like it.

It has some really beautiful pinkish tones; I think it would be perfect for a girl to use. 😅. Okay, friends, let me tell you a little about the drawing. In the first four images I showed you, you could see how I drew the microphone title on a white sheet of paper and then framed it with a line above and below it. I used a ruler I have to make the line. After that, I drew the base of our deck on the paper. In the next four images, you saw how I colored each part of the drawing by hand with colored pencils. And now I just need to show you how it turned out. I'll also show you, as is tradition, some of the instrumentals I used.

That step above includes highlighting with a black marker to prevent the colors from blending. I think it turned out okay. I'd love to hear your opinion. Hugs, friends, and until the next drawing. Have a good night.
