Colleagues, today I'm here with a new drawing. This one is inspired by a musical instrument that's culturally very well-known because it's linked to one of the traditional genres of Spanish music. Want to know which one it is? Well, it's the i22 Castanets, or as they're known in Spain, "Castañas" (chestnuts). This instrument is one of the most well-known in the country because it's part of flamenco, one of the most traditional and cultural musical and dance forms in Spain. Personally, I love flamenco, especially the kind with a singer in the background while the dancer performs. It's such an expressive type of music, and you can easily connect with the song's theme.
Sometimes when I'm feeling a bit low or don't feel like doing anything, I listen to some flamenco, and it's very energizing. I think you should try it. Getting back to the castanets, which I know I easily stray from the main topic, they are two separate pieces of wood. One side is thicker, producing a lower sound, and the other side is thinner, producing a higher sound. The two pieces are connected by a string. A flamenco player strikes them together to create the music. Interestingly, they are used in pairs, one in each hand.
And that's precisely where the difficulty lies. It's not easy to play two different rhythms in each hand. If someone tried it without experience, they would probably only manage to play the same rhythm in both hands. Playing a different rhythm in each hand requires a lot of practice. That's why I say that anyone who sees them might think it's an easy instrument, but it's anything but. I'm going to show you a video of how it's played before I show you how I made the drawing.
Did you hear how beautiful they sound? Look up flamenco with chestnuts to enjoy them even more. Now, let's see the drawing I made today. First, I drew the frame for the letter.

After making the frame, I drew a rectangle with slanted corners to give the impression that it's lying down. That would be the top part of the closet where the chestnuts are placed in the letter. Following that, I drew more lines to create the body of the closet.

In the details section, I painted the chestnuts on the closet, and I also added some more lines to create a 3D effect. Look how it turned out.

Once that previous step was finished, I moved on to painting everything. Enjoy the process.

And to conclude, colleagues, I'll show you how I painted the details of the card. And with that, it's finished. See you later. Blessings to all.
