Colleagues, blessings to all and happy Friday! Today I made a drawing inspired by the i80 Triangle card. It's a musical instrument from the game. It's called a triangle for an obvious reason—it's shaped like one. It's a very interesting instrument with a sound that I honestly think is mesmerizing, even relaxing, I'd say.
I often listen to orchestral music, that is, videos where you can see the musicians playing. I like that more than listening to them without being able to see them. I find it more captivating to see where the music comes from. And I want to show you a video of one of those songs that uses the Triangle so you can get to know it before we start looking at how I made the drawing.
Now that you know what it looks and sounds like, colleagues, I'm going to show you how I made the drawing. Well, first of all, I started by making the frame that I'll use for the card. This frame design is slightly similar to yesterday's. This is how it turned out.
After finishing the frame, I moved on to making the handle of the drumstick. This drumstick is metal and is used to play one side of the triangle, producing the beautiful music it creates. Following the handle, I then made the metal rod that forms the drumstick. The next step was to draw the triangle, starting with part of its outer outline.
In the details section, I finished drawing the body of the triangle, including a second line to complete the missing part. I also drew the handle at the top. That little piece of rope is used to hang the triangle.
Now it's time to paint, friends! It's time to fill in each outline and silhouette. I used a blue and gray color palette. For the gradients, I used pure colors and a spray effect. I've included some screenshots of the process.
To finish up, colleagues, I drew the card's aesthetic details, including its name at the top. In the center, below, is the usual stamp with the game's name; whenever you see it in my drawings, it's a sign that it's finished. And in the notch of the frame, I drew the card's category.
