Merry Hashmas!

I can't believe I forgot to post photos of our Christmas Hash and this year is an extra special one because so many of our members are not here this year when they normally would be. We got a few of them in on conference calls but for the most part they are on the other side of the world and I am not surprised that they were unwilling to wake up at 4 am in order to be a part of the circle.

This is actually a much better turnout than we were expecting and special thanks to everyone who crossed over from the Thursday Hash to join us on a Saturday. Lately there has been some what I consider to be unnecessary arguments taking place between the two kennels and hopefully this can be a step in the right direction to adjusting that.

Most people remembered to bring some sort of Christmas regalia to wear and I was extremely surprised that most of the members actually used their brains for once and remembered to actually do this. Those that forgot were of course severely punished and then provided with some sort of headdress anyway.

This run wasn't particularly noteworthy as it was mostly flat and the trails were a bit too easy to discover but I suppose that not every run can be out of this world.

The above is one of my favorite shots of the day. His name is P**sy Whisperer and yet again here he is surrounded by all the women of the Hash that day right before we started. We don't know how he does it, but the ladies just seem to flock to him for reasons even he can't explain.

At the end of the run and the obligatory 1.5 hour circle, we all sat down to a Christmas meal of sorts, even though it was the day after Christmas. This is one of my favorite aspects of the Hash, we are all like one big family. I can honestly say that a lot of the people that I have met in my several years involvement with the Hash will remain my friends for the rest of my life.

It was a great day just like we thought it was going to be and we also got great weather combined with a even slightly cool evening.
