My new lesson is brief and thoughtful, it focuses on highlighting the dignity of our God when we praise him. This is found in Psalm 18: 3 that says:
I will call Jehovah, who is worthy of being praised, and will be saved from my enemies.
Here we find the most important reason to praise God: "He is worthy of being praised."
With our praise we focus attention on our God, worthy and deserving of being praised and glorified. The more we focus on God, the more we will shine. Modern medicine has pointed out the value of taking a depressed person to a well-lit room, recognizing that light greatly helps to cure depression. How much more praise will be to our God and will give us his light and give us his joy!
@carlis20, truly praise to God is wonderfully honorable to Him, when we praise Him with our soul we open the heavens in our favor.
