The peace and joy of God cover you on this day!

The times we are living are of high expectations and observance of the prophecies of recent times. The world is moving rapidly towards prophetic fulfillment and what we are seeing by the appearance of false prophets and teachers should lead us to guarantee our salvation and sanctification.

The Scripture says: "For false Christs and false prophets will rise and do great signs and wonders, so that they will deceive, if possible, even the elect" (Mt 24:24). We know that Jesus is the only true Messiah. The world gropes calmly and solves its problems. It is very difficult for such a convulsed world to offer some kind of solution. But people are willing to follow anyone who offers, even a slight hope. They even try to communicate with their "god" through rites and ceremonies full of sacrifices and different philosophies. The world, with its wars and a multitude of problems, has pushed people towards false prophets, and sadly towards the practice of occultism and mysticism. People without Christ follow any doctrine that seeks spiritual relief, and when they are disappointed in some, they follow others.
Humanity is preparing to receive a great false messiah: the antichrist. On one occasion, the Lord Jesus Christ said: "I have come in the name of my Father, and you do not receive me; if another comes in his own name, you will receive him" (John 5:43). The world has no confidence in governments; the decline in them is like a greeting of welcome to this man, who will be the last world emperor. This situation will help this man in his conquest of the last human government. This man will come with a complete "peace and security" program. He will get the loyalty of those left after the Rapture, which will acclaim him as a kind of messiah. The world will entrust his problems to him, and he, with deception and cunning, will take them out of their misery and chaos for a while.
Next to him will work a man, whom the Bible refers to as the false prophet, who will not seek glory for himself, but will attract all attention to this man and seek to be worshiped and paid homage. Now, how will this man present himself and who is he? The Bible does not allow any man to be designated as the antichrist; We don't know his name, and we really don't know who he can be, but we do know a lot about him, through the Scriptures.

First, this man will leave the Roman Empire revived, which will be made up of nations from Europe, Asia and the Middle East; whose regions formed the ancient Roman empire. Let's review the prophecy of Daniel 7: 7-8

The fourth beast was horrible, terrible and very strong, that it had great iron teeth; she devoured and collapsed, and the leftovers trampled her feet and were very different from all the beasts I saw before her, and they had ten horns. While contemplating the horns, there was another small horn that came out between them, and in front of him three horns of the first were touched and behold, this horn had man eyes and a mouth that spoke great things.

This fourth beast is the Roman Empire, the greatest empire of antiquity and the one that had no successor. The ten horns are ten kings or kingdoms. Currently in Europe, we are seeing the resurgence of this colossus, with the birth of the European Common Market, that is, the European Economic Community. And the little horn that came out between them, which had eyes and mouth like those of a man, is a man: the antichrist.

When this dictator is known, he will seize the confederation of the European Common Market. This man will possibly have his empire in Western Europe, in the ancient Roman Empire. Of the ten nations mentioned in Daniel's prophecy, seven will surrender their dominions and power voluntarily, but three will resist, being overthrown by the antichrist (Dan 7: 8). This dictator will enter the scene with great power of conquest and will win the sympathy of the whole world through "promises of peace, prosperity and security." But the reality is that it will throw one of the most terrible and tragic moments on earth that has ever been experienced. "It will be a tribulation that has not existed since the beginning of the world nor will there be" (Matthew 24:21). Jesus himself called it: "The Great Tribulation."

This man cannot appear while the church of Jesus Christ, the Bride of the Lamb, is here on earth. If this man were known now, we, the true church of Jesus Christ, would have the authority and power to destroy his plans and purposes, to rebuke him in the name of Jesus, and nothing could do. But as soon as the trumpet sounds and glorious ecstasy occurs, and we are safe with the Lord, the eternal refuge, then, alas!

Sort:

Amen @carli20, we are certainly living very dangerous prophetic times and we Christians must have their eyes on Jesus and discernment to be able to look with the spiritual eyes and not be deceived by the wicked man.
