I recently made a friend who's not only a doctor but also a photographer so we could say he knows stuff about biology and colors.

This morning he said to me;

Did you know that all of the human beings have the exact same color?

A Molecule called melanin is what makes the color. All of us have the same color just the saturation and lightness of the color is different. Humans are orange like a carrot. All of us. Isn't it funny?

Eye color is melanin too

Brown eyes = lot's of melanin

Green eyes = low level melanin which makes it yellow, the light braking up while reflecting in the eye creates blue. Overall green.

That's the thing with blue eyes. They have actually no color. The strength of the blue only depends on the ambient light, so for example if we meet in person and we will outside on a sunny day, it will be piercing blue because of the amount of light gets reflected. Called Tyndall effects.
