Perhaps one of the disciplines where neural networks have more applications is in the treatment of images, for years we have seen how every day GAN networks manage to apply different pictorial styles to the same photograph, turn our photo into a cartoon or create fake news more and more real.
Quizás una de las disciplinas donde mas aplicaciones tienen las redes neuronales es en el tratamiento de imágenes, desde hace años hemos visto como día a día las redes GAN consiguen aplicar distintos estilos pictóricos a una misma fotografía, convertir nuestra foto en un dibujo animado o crear noticas falsas cada vez más reales.
Personally, what impresses me the most is the "live portrait" technology presented by the Israeli company D-ID (De-identification), through which the MyHeritage company manages to bring the photos of our ancestors to life, through from the free access "Deep Nostalgia" application (https://www.myheritage.com/deep-nostalgia).

A pesar de lo espectacular de esta tecnología no todo el mundo la ve con buenos ojos, para algunos esto no es más que una broma macabra, la muerte sigue siendo algo difícil de encajar para nosotros pero me temo que esto no ha hecho más que empezar, ahora estamos animando personajes antiguos con muy poca información, imaginaos lo que se puede hacer cuando los milenials, que tienen toda su vida grabada en vídeo, sean antepasados de alguien.
