This production plant is made up of 169 reflective panels that follow the Sun and reflect the light they receive to the same point located on top of a tower where there is a solar reactor that promotes the chemical reactions necessary to convert water and CO2 injected into the reactor in syngas.
Esta planta de producción está formada por 169 paneles reflectantes que van siguiendo al Sol y reflejando la luz que reciben a un mismo punto situado en lo alto de una torre donde se encuentra un reactor solar que propicia las reacciones químicas necesarias para convertir el agua y el CO2 inyectados en el reactor en syngas.
Syngas is an adapted mixture of hydrogen and carbon monoxide that is subsequently sent to a gas-to-liquid converter and it is in this converter where it is finally transformed into liquid fuels such as kerosene that can be consumed as jet fuel, among others.
El syngas es una mezcla adaptada de hidrógeno y monóxido de carbono que posteriormente, se envía a un convertidor de gas a líquido y es en este convertidor donde finalmente se transforma en combustibles líquidos como el queroseno que pueden ser consumidos como combustible para aviones, entre otros.
