During the last decade it seems that every day we are more interested in conquering outer space, not only interplanetary travel within our solar system but even interstellar travel, but space is sooooo big and, although we could travel at speeds close to that of light, the distances are scandalously great.

In the case of Mars, the second closest planet to Earth, we are talking about more than 100 million km away, which implies about 6 months of travel, apart from the boredom of the crew, it means having to carry oxygen supplies, food, medicine, etc. for the entire crew during that travel time.

Hola @mauromar, es bueno saber eso, pero yo me imaginaba la hibernación en seres humanos como en estado de coma lo cual me da mucho miedo porque se supone corremos el riesgo de no despertar.
hmmmmmmm, maybe we can find a way to shrink ourselves first, THEN hibernate. 😁
